Barcelona..... Gracias....

Hey hey... i went for a 5 days 4 nights trip to Barcelona last week... let me share with you some of the photos.... :) it's a wonderful place.... everyone should go... :)

This is the scary alley to the apartment i stayed for four nights.... imagine it at night.... -_-" scary... so i would strongly suggest those ppl who plan to go barcelona... it would be best to spend bit more money to stay in a decent hotel.... But if u feel that u are very brave and dun mind taking the risk... the apartment that i stayed in was super nice with brand new IKEA furniture, well furnished kitchen and share your room with only one ppl.

This is called 'Paella' a traditional food of Spain... which is rice with seafood or meat... they taste quite nice... similar to fried rice... just that Paella rice is not being fried... and if u can see the cup above that pic with thick brown fluid... that's a the Spanish Hot Chocolate... amazingly delicious... so thick and so nice.... wow... yummy yummy...
This is La Sagrada Familia.... the landmark of Barcelona... designed by Gaudi... an extremely famous architect in Barcelona... why extremely... because apparently all the tourist attraction in Barcelona is designed by him....

This is a place called Park Guell... smart architectual design...

Some old friends from IMU... Koh Jun, Yin Hui, Jimmy

It would not be complete if go Barcelona without catching a football match... although i'm not a football fan... but i manage to watch this game between Barcelona Football Club and Celta with a little bit of finacial support from my fren... hehe... i met ronaldino... muahahaha...
Below are some random photos that i took in Barcelona.... any comment must tell me ya... :)

what would you do?

Today, as usual, i took the U6H bus to hospital.... Nothing exciting actually... just the same thing i do everyday... just that today Wan, my malaysian batchmate is also on the bus. So i sat in front of her after say hi to her. Then suddenly, she hit my back and the conversation go on....

Wan: Hey, look in front, there's a ten pound note on the floor in front next to the driver.....
Me: Wah.... yes... i untung 10 pound today......
Wan: No... go pick it up and give it to the driver.....
Me: Huh..??? ( wat the... )
(but i still go and pick it up and then pass it to the bus driver after making sure the 10 pound doesn't belongs to me... )
(the driver look at me shock... )
Driver: U pick it up on the floor?!?!
Me: Ya... (walk back to my seat... i think i saw the driver kept it into his own pocket)

At the next stop, Navin and Ming Keong heard the story and say: Walau... why you so stupid one... U can get a second hand tv with that 10 pound... mauhahahahaha....
Me: -_-''

Lesson of the day: what would you do if you were me.... ?

Ipoh... the city of leng lui??

Went to Ipoh on the 29th, 30th,31st July 2005… ate like pig… all we do are eat and eat and eat and Gua Tempurung (read below…) Bean Sprout chicken, Hor Fun, Dim Sum, Mua Chee, curry noodles, hiong beng, hakka mee, duck noodles… pamello (hehe…), white coffee, custard, bread chicken... I like ipoh la… all the food and the leng lui's haha…

Eating the Bread Chicken... or Chicken in the Bread... hmmmmm....

Gua Tempurung… a.k.a Coconut Shell Cave…direct translation from Malay language… Before this, I’ve heard a lot stories bout how tough it is to walk through the cave… plus according to Jack… there’s a lot of cockroaches inside… so creepy… hehe… started to wonder how come in a cave got cockroaches?? Haha… anyway… but still… Six of us, called ourselves the brave and adventurous six.. Dexter, Hong Chee, Jack, Ai Lee, Pooi Yee and Me, in Dexter’s Toyota Corolla decided to head on to the cave and start our adventure despite knowing it won’t be an easy one… after the Lost City of Tambun (actually just stopped by outside it then decided it’s better to go for the cave instead of the ‘not so tempting’ water world)

Oh my God… maybe it’s very common to other people but to me… to see bull shits on the road on our way to the cave is really first time lo… all so huge and Eeeewwww…. Hehe… cut the crap bout the dung… after bout half an hour, we reached the cave… all of us joined the ‘Grand Tour’ package worth RM22 per head which Dexter insisted to join cause according to him… must try the most strenuous and longest one only fun…the beginning part was easy cause we walked on the man made path which is easy to walk on and quite enjoyable with the lame tour guide telling us funny stories bout the different sculptures that can be seen (including monkeys driving a Kancil car, dragon head, pregnant woman and etc) then the tough part begin… after sending off the other people who did not join the Grand Tour package… the tour guide asked us to off our torch lights and start to walk in pitch dark … total darkness… haha… think I really talked a lot when it’s dark until jack ask me to shut up… luckily it’s just for a while… then we begin our journey in the cave not on the man made path… but sliding down rocks… commando crawls on the water with torch lights on our hands… crawling… duck walking… sliding down a super steep rock face… avoiding myself from hitting the sharp pointing rocks (btw, I did hit myself twice on to the rocks... got two 'pao's on my head)… haha… man it was fun… somemore I accidentally made the tour guide knock his head on the rock… luckily no bleeding…but he complained of headache and giddiness after the tour… hope he is still alive and happy now… :-P Phewww.... was relieved to get out of the cave… took us bout 3 hours to finish the whole walkthrough in the cave… great experience… I learnt never use slippers or sandals to walk in a cave…( jack’s sandals spoilt in the cave... i got cuts on my feet) many cuts on our elbows and knees…all wet… but seriously it was fun… highly recommended for everyone to come and challenge it… even girls can made it… and I’m still alive writing this blog… some more I lost 3kg after that… but straight away gained back after eating super a lot in ipoh and penang… so dun worry… and ar... there's no cockroaches inside... not even ants... got sleeping bats only.. go try it out… hehe :P ... Too bad.. did not bring our camera in.. din take any pic in the cave...

Goodbye Alison......

Alison, you the girl, who captured our hearts,
Without you in our midst, we will never be the same,
Alison, how i wish, we never have to part,
But i wish you all god blessings now....

This is the chorus of the self composed song by Kheng Chiew to our dearest Sister Alison who left us all here in Malaysia... to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor in Adelaide University... Almost all of our Care Group members went to KLIA to send her off last nite... tears was flowing when we sang this songs to her right in front of the counter... She has always been the most caring and sweetest sister in our care group... Being knowing her for only about one year and 8 months.... she is always the one who care for each and everyone in the care group equally... without her... our care group will never the same... we will sure all miss her... Thinking back of all the good things she had done to everyone of us... she's an Angel from God to all of us.. seriously i have no idea how to express my gratitude.... only thing i could do is to pray for you....

Alison, Thank you for everything... thank you for your encouragements and supports in my life for the past one year and eight months.... we love you... All the best in Adelaide and may God Bless You a lot....

KKB... Rotation......

Having been blogging for quite a long time.... i'm back...Oh... finally... rotation over... just got back from KKBlast Thursday... KKB was consider ok this time... let me share some experience while i was there...

On Monday evening... Me and Elaine (the noisy one.. hehe) decided to have jungle trekking into the forest next to our hostel in Taman Seruling after seeing jack and his gang having fun at the waterfall down the cliff which apparently can only be reach by trekking through the thick rainforest... Ai Lee, Sarah decided to come along also while I asked Zhang Duan to come along to help take care of these girls... haih... it was not as easy as they tot it was... after warning them bout the danger that they might face in the jungle... they still wanna go in and have a look at the waterfall... hmmm... with just a tiny little stick in my hand... we started our 'dunno what would happen in front' journey... wearing just shorts and selipars... it's not pleasant feeling to walk inside the jungle.. where there is all kind of insects and torns... lot's of bites and scratches on our way in already (mind started thinking... : maybe it's not such a good idea to go into the jungle anyway with too many noisy girls behind me who keep complaining on the bad conditions in the jungle... the worst thing is that we ended up walking rounds in the jungle and end up in the cliff where we saw jack they all just now... meaning we did not progress at all since just now... frustrated and disappointed and we left.. and not to say... i was the one being blamed again for not being able to bring them to the waterfall... this story teach us.... never ever step into the jungle if u have no experience trekking in the jungle before... never go into the jungle without insect repellent because u will end up worrying yourself getting dengue.... and never ever bring girls who like to complaint along with you when u wanna try out something new but dangerous... hehe... and please sleep in the house after a whole day posting in KKB hospital... cause u will end up waking up late the next morning and miss the bus... :P

Having to observed 2 deliveries in one day.... wow... both babies delivered with a 5 minutes difference... one at 1039 and the other 1144... both healthy and sound... that were actually my 2nd and 3rd watching deliveries... but it has nevered bored me... because your day will be brigthen up when seeing the babies innocent and cute smiles and eyes looking at you.... the mother relieves after losing about 4kgs and the tummy in few minutes .... and their satisfaction looking at their own babies... fathers who were worried outside before delivery were now happily playing with their new boy boy or girl girl... the siblings of the baby who look at their new born brother or sister and start to wonder... 'this little creature is my brother...' hehe... wow... really salute to all the mom in the world... u all are the best... being able to overcome all the pain and suffers to give birth to little monster like us... hehe.... and MOm.... Love you for it... :-)

Mahjong.... one of the few best chinese invention.... wow ... this game is the best game to play when i was in KKB... maybe it's because of the companies when get while playing this game... or maybe it's the satisfaction of finally winning a game after so long... tell you guys what... Miss Ai Lee is the one who won almost all the game... especially when she's wearing the black crusaiders t-shirt... sometime i really wonder did she cast any spell on us to make us lose... hmmm... dunno.... creepy ... Ai Lee knows black magic... hehe :P .... Being playing mahjong everyday in KKB... one thing to note is that... there's one early early morning... when i go back to my house after a long nite of mahjong gamessss.... saw j*li**, Le* S*i** and si** le* sleeping outside the house.... hmmm... do they really like the cold weather outside... sometime i really wonder... is that sane to do so... hmm... but actually might be quite fun... hehe.... if there's no mosquitoes who might cause you dengue fever and with not so many neighbours who might just call police seeing ppl lying outside... and no monkeys who might pay u visit anytime and do funny stuff on you.... i would like to try also... :P

HOt water spring... there's hot water spring in KKB itself... just few minutes drive from KKB hospital... super nice... super hot.... shady surroundings.... but..... hmm..... there's mosquitoessssss... deep in the jungle..... cannot be reached by car... really very dark at night... but actually it's very safe... me just no guts to take off my clothes and dip myself into the water....but daniel and kk they all did ... and claimed themselves to be healthier after that... but kk end up coming back home without realising he wore his shirt terbalik... hahahaha..... the first hot water spring that i ever been to in m'sia... maybe juniors!!! should go and have a look.... it's just next to the Maktab Polis Diraja Malaysia... a small cemented route into the jungle and u will see... no sign board to tell u bout the water spring.... got one sign saying 20km/j ahead... think that's for the bike....

Well that's all.... typing this article twice dy... cause something with com before this and lost everything without saving.... btw... kkb was nice... the last time i'm in kkb and everytime there's new stuff for me to discover.... well gonna miss the nice cool windy at nite there... which could make me feel like floating in the air... (imagine how strong the wind need to be), the fresh and unpolluted air that can't get in kl..... the best pasar malam that i ever been to (although din manage to go this time), and of course my group members who made the kkb trip fun....

my housemates and me...
me and zhang duan in front KKB hospital
my housemates with blur looks .. hehe

Klinik Kesihatan was .... hmmm....

not fun... but was quite relieve after everything was over.... then starting observing wat medical students would do when they are free...
The myth: take out a book and starting to read?? start to discuss on the cases we saw that day?
The truths: Sleeping on the sofa...

colour matches the sofa
who's this?
singing.....

Taking photos.. (that's me ), chit chat (gossiping...) playing bingo... hmmm.... and of course... there's still ppl reading la....
Joy with a pose
May Shan forever beautifully reading... hehe...

Sometime really wonder... is this profession really that simple??? haha
