Went to Ipoh on the 29th, 30th,31st July 2005… ate like pig… all we do are eat and eat and eat and Gua Tempurung (read below…) Bean Sprout chicken, Hor Fun, Dim Sum, Mua Chee, curry noodles, hiong beng, hakka mee, duck noodles… pamello (hehe…), white coffee, custard, bread chicken... I like ipoh la… all the food and the leng lui's haha…

Eating the Bread Chicken... or Chicken in the Bread... hmmmmm....
Gua Tempurung… a.k.a Coconut Shell Cave…direct translation from Malay language… Before this, I’ve heard a lot stories bout how tough it is to walk through the cave… plus according to Jack… there’s a lot of cockroaches inside… so creepy… hehe… started to wonder how come in a cave got cockroaches?? Haha… anyway… but still… Six of us, called ourselves the brave and adventurous six.. Dexter, Hong Chee, Jack, Ai Lee, Pooi Yee and Me, in Dexter’s Toyota Corolla decided to head on to the cave and start our adventure despite knowing it won’t be an easy one… after the Lost City of Tambun (actually just stopped by outside it then decided it’s better to go for the cave instead of the ‘not so tempting’ water world)
Oh my God… maybe it’s very common to other people but to me… to see bull shits on the road on our way to the cave is really first time lo… all so huge and Eeeewwww…. Hehe… cut the crap bout the dung… after bout half an hour, we reached the cave… all of us joined the ‘Grand Tour’ package worth RM22 per head which Dexter insisted to join cause according to him… must try the most strenuous and longest one only fun…the beginning part was easy cause we walked on the man made path which is easy to walk on and quite enjoyable with the lame tour guide telling us funny stories bout the different sculptures that can be seen (including monkeys driving a Kancil car, dragon head, pregnant woman and etc) then the tough part begin… after sending off the other people who did not join the Grand Tour package… the tour guide asked us to off our torch lights and start to walk in pitch dark … total darkness… haha… think I really talked a lot when it’s dark until jack ask me to shut up… luckily it’s just for a while… then we begin our journey in the cave not on the man made path… but sliding down rocks… commando crawls on the water with torch lights on our hands… crawling… duck walking… sliding down a super steep rock face… avoiding myself from hitting the sharp pointing rocks (btw, I did hit myself twice on to the rocks... got two 'pao's on my head)… haha… man it was fun… somemore I accidentally made the tour guide knock his head on the rock… luckily no bleeding…but he complained of headache and giddiness after the tour… hope he is still alive and happy now… :-P Phewww.... was relieved to get out of the cave… took us bout 3 hours to finish the whole walkthrough in the cave… great experience… I learnt never use slippers or sandals to walk in a cave…( jack’s sandals spoilt in the cave... i got cuts on my feet) many cuts on our elbows and knees…all wet… but seriously it was fun… highly recommended for everyone to come and challenge it… even girls can made it… and I’m still alive writing this blog… some more I lost 3kg after that… but straight away gained back after eating super a lot in ipoh and penang… so dun worry… and ar... there's no cockroaches inside... not even ants... got sleeping bats only.. go try it out… hehe :P ... Too bad.. did not bring our camera in.. din take any pic in the cave...
