Windermere

It all started when ah kat or ming ying invited me to their chatroom one fine night. They were talking about a trip as a group to somewhere... suggestion was opened to everyone and we finally decided to go to Lake District, England for an outing. Since it's getting nearer to my final exam... i declined the invitation to go... and decided i shall 'add oil' during this short easter break....

Suddenly, after not hearing any news from them for months, i got an e mail from Poh Sen forwarding Glen's first ever e mail to the groups about the trip. Sen only wrote one simple sentence "See you there". After reading thru the mail and the struggles in my heart, i could not resist the temptation. I asked glen to get me the same bus and train tickets as his and he bought them in the next 5 mins leaving me with no excuse to not to go... although there was a tiny miny dot of regretfulness after that... BUT... I just leave it as it is... BUT SERIOUSLY EVERYONE!!!! sleepless Glen, lost weight Sen, 表嫂LiYan, always laughingYwee, Strawberry roti SingYee, take it easy Siewsing, exported SueChoo, not so blur MingYing, bravest SuokTeng, silent killer KahHong, joker KokHui, sleepyYleng, sticky lovebird alice and BoonHui!!!! IT HAD BEEN ONE OF THE BEST WEEKEND I ever had!!! Honestly... !!!! WOW... it was great... Not only the scenic towns and the amazing view.... It was the companies, the jokes, the chemistries, the laughters, the 'gietness' of someone and the memories we have experienced... This trip will definitely not stay in my hippocampus but consolidated into memorables and sweet moments in my life :)

Not to forget to mention the great planning done by ah kat and all... so much effort put in... and everything just run so smoothly. Thanks to everyone who is involved in any part of the planning and also non stop persuading people to go...

The road trip was exciting and eventful with me keep directing the wrong direction... lost tailing the car... sliding down slopes... burning the tyres of a brand new toyota auris... hehe... and Please forget about my bad sense of direction... my bad driving skill.. high tendency of getting lost... and my cheapo pasar malam mr tom....

The BBQ served the best lamb chops, scrumptious pork satays, delicious chicken wings... heart sweet sweetpotatoes and great long sausages from germany... and not forgetting the natural low fat yogurt (NO MAYO... No MAYO) salad

The games with bruises left on everyone thighs... silent and scary mafia... bang bomb blurness... kiasu scissors paper stones... sexist punishment :P The astonishing chemistry between some people... haha...

The dinner with chicken curry and 'cautopher' (after correction 'kartoffel') salad from House 82, seafood spagetti and broccoli and cauliflower from house 81 and Fried rice from lovebird house 80...

Group Photo on the lake cruise... But Ming Ying is not in...

Ora Et Labora (i look like i got heartache)

Ahem... waiting to hear good news about them when they come back from prague... hehe

Snowy snowy morning....

RM6,000 a month for docs after two-year housemanship
By IZATUN SHARI

PUTRAJAYA: At least 2,000 graduate house officers in government hospitals will get an automatic promotion to grade UD44 upon completion of their two-year housemanship in 2010.
They will be getting at least RM6,000 including allowances every month, which is almost double what the present graduate house officers are getting on grade UD41.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican said the promotion exercise would cost RM1.7mil annually.

He added that at least 7,000 doctors on grades UD41 and UD44, who were appointed before 2008, would also get their long overdue promotions. This would cost another RM9.8mil.
He said many doctors had been stuck at UD41 for six to seven years and that they would be moved to the higher scale of UD44.

“Hopefully, this promotion exercise will indirectly encourage many doctors to remain in the civil service,” he said.

Dr Ismail denied allegations by certain parties that there were not enough opportunities for other races compared to Malays in the medical sector.
He said that from 2000 to February this year, there were 2,085 specialists of whom 56% were Malays, Chinese (23.7%) and Indians (19.3% ).
He said 55% of the specialists on grade UD48 were Malays, 23% Chinese and 18.2% Indians. As for UD54, it was 58% Malay, 21% Chinese and 16% Indian.
Of the specialists under special grade C, he said 51.1% were Malays and Chinese and Indians made up 24% each.

As for those under special grade B, he said that 42% were Malays with the Chinese and Indians making up 24% and 34% respectively
